Carmelo Vecchio and Rosa La Guzza launched Vigneti Vecchio from a vineyard they inherited. Carmelo worked at the celebrated Passopisciaro winery for a decade and a half before refocusing on their own project. Portfolio from young and old vines: two traditional Etna Rosso field blends; one DOC Sicilia skin-macerated Carricante with other white varieties; and a striking red Terre Siciliane including Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Alicante, and 10% local white varieties.
