Carmelo Vecchio and Rosa La Guzza launched Vigneti Vecchio from a vineyard they inherited; Carmelo worked at the celebrated Passopisciaro winery for a decade and a half before refocusing on their own project. Portfolio from young and old vines includes two traditional Etna Rosso field blends, a skin-macerated DOC Sicilia Carricante, and a Terre Siciliane blending Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Alicante, and local white varieties.
