Named for Theresa Eccher, a tempestuous matriarch whose granddaughter Daniela Corma says she spoke of the family’s winemaking estate in Trentino’s Non Valley, where the tradition had faded; Daniela’s husband Andrea Panozzo was enamored with Mount Etna, and when Daniela expressed her desire to reignite the family wine business in the image of her grandmother, Etna was the region of choice. Portfolio includes a supple Etna Bianco with Catarratto, an easy-drinking Etna Rosato in the tradition of a pistamutta, and Nerello expressions from old and young vines in Contrada Pontale Palino.
