Etna project launched by Davide Rosso, whose original wines come from Nebbiolo vineyards in Serralunga d’Alba, Piedmont. Located in Contrada Montedolce, formed by the eruption of an extinct parasitic volcano on Etna’s north slope that spread molten basalt with high iron concentrations west of Solicchiata. Davide approaches the estate with the sensibility of farmers rather than academia.
