Founded by the Cianci family; father and daughter Antonio and Paola Cianci farm Nerello vines in Contrada Feudo di Mezzo and a Carricante vineyard in Contrada Salice, below the main square of Milo. The Salice vineyard features young alberelli planted in weathered volcanic sand brindled with lapilli and ripiddu — deposits from the landslide that created the Valle del Bove. After years of experimentation, the family began bottling wines based on vine age and contrada of origin.
