Etna project of the historic Sicilian house Duca di Salaparuta, founded in 1824, located in Contrada Marchesa — a pocket of the mountain with a longstanding affinity for international varieties, especially Pinot Noir. The vineyard straddles Contrade Moganazzi and Marchesa on decomposed Mongibello soils. The aspect is turned away from morning and autumn sun, contributing to wine elegance.
