Founded by Concetto Bosco and partner Sofia; at the Vigne Vico farm, prephylloxera Nerello vines pour down into a pool of alberelli across undulating terraces hemmed in by two lava flows — 1566 and 1879 — and planted in a cascade of decomposed lava from two earlier epochs. The Vigne Vico farm was purchased from the Vico family in 2012, with grapes producing a single cru named for the vineyard. A new winery built into the hillside in long slabs of basalt has a top deck overlooking the northern valley and a modern cantina below.
