Known for wines from around Vittoria in southeast Sicily, Tenuta Bastonaca realized a dream of owning old alberelli vines in Contrada Piano dei Daini on the north slope of the volcano. With acclaimed enologist Carlo Ferrini, the estate adopted an organic scheme for the alberelli and low-impact vinification in the cellar. The estate produces one Etna Bianco and an elegant award-winning Etna Rosso.
