Founded 2013 by Anne-Louise Mikkelsen, who grew up sipping Bordeaux with her father in Denmark. Deeper interest in wine developed during an apprenticeship with a Burgundy importer and as an apprentice in Meursault in 2002. Travelled through France, the US, and Italy before falling in love with the wines of Etna. Construction on the winery in Solicchiata completed in 2018. Portfolio of four reds and a single white represents several small vineyards on the north slope; three reds bottled as Etna DOC, the remaining as DOC Sicilia. 3.6 hectares across six contrade: Santo Spirito, Marchesa, Piano d’Ario, Bocca d’Orzo, Chiusa Monica, and Nave. Vine training: alberello, Guyot, and cordon. Produces 18,000 bottles annually. Visits by request only. Wines to try: Bianco Sicilia Carricante, Aglaea Nerello Mascalese, Santo Spirito Etna Rosso.
