Originally founded by Mauro Cutuli’s grandfather and relaunched in 2017 after Mauro returned from years in finance and working as a sommelier. The Monte Ilice vineyard features old alberelli among fruit, nut, and olive trees in volcanic sand with no terraces — vines and plants are the only anchors on the slope. An old cableway that once carried tools, water, and grapes is no longer operational; all work is done by hand.
