Run today by Giuseppe Russo, a classically trained pianist who returned to Etna after a family emergency following years of study and work abroad. Two years after returning, he was retraining the vineyards with a focus on quality wine. Early adopter of the theory that elevation is as important as soil consistency. White wines blend Coda di Volpe, Grecanico, Minella, and Inzolia alongside Carricante. Reds are all Nerello. Single-vineyard Etna Rossi from Feudo, San Lorenzo, and Feudo di Mezzo are planted in Mongibello and Ellittico soils.
