The Polizzotti family’s land in Contrada Portelli, Trapani, has grown crops since the early 1800s — first wheat and cotton, then, from 1920, vines. Giuseppe Polizzotti modernised the estate in 1995, naming it Fondo Antico after the old local name for the land.
