Floriana and Pasquale produce Etna Bianco, Etna Rosato, and Etna Rosso from old alberelli in Contrada Pietralunga, downslope from the spent volcanic crater Monte Ilice on the southeast flank. A second old-vine vineyard sits high above the village of Poggiofelice at 750 meters AMSL. Monte Ilice has a history of interplanting relic varieties throughout the vineyards: Bracau (Pampanuto/Verdeca), Grecanico, Minella, Zu Matteo, along with Nerello, Carricante, and Catarratto, lending a refreshing zest to the wines.
