After years advising some of Tuscany and Sicily’s top estates as a consulting winemaker, Emiliano Falsini started bottling under his own name, splitting his personal project between his native Bolgheri and a parcel of old-vine Nerello Mascalese he bought in Etna’s Contrada Feudo Pignatone in 2018 — chasing freshness and mineral character from two very different volcanic-adjacent terroirs.
