Founded 2004 by Giovanni Valenti. Converted an old palmento and distillery into a modern winery and tasting room built across the road from the Circumetnea train station in Passopisciaro. At the end of the nineteenth century, the neighborhood west of la colonna was a gathering place for farmers, merchants, and travelers. The company is now guided by Laura La Mantia. Vineyards stretch between 600 and 1,000 meters AMSL across some of the most sought-after contrade on the north slope. The company continues to move toward noninvasive treatments in both vines and cantina.
