Founded 1987 by Dr. Rocco Siciliano. Estate occupies a plateau of vines in Contrada Marchesa along SS120 between Solicchiata and Passopisciaro. Small plot includes local and international varieties: mixed Pinot Nero clones, Cabernets Franc and Sauvignon, Nerello Mascalese for two Etna Rossos, and Carricante vinified with a three-day maceration on the skins. Pinot Nero is produced in single-barrel quantities. Estate includes a stone tower behind the cellar. Dr. Siciliano has progressively limited aggressive interventions in both vineyard and cellar. 2 hectares in Contrada Marchesa; vine training: cordon. Produces 8,000 bottles annually.
