About
Founded in 2007, I Custodi delle Vigne dell’Etna farms 13 hectares across four contrade — Moganazzi, Feudo di Mezzo, Sant’Alfio, and Milo — using traditional alberello vine training. The winery is dedicated to restoring old vineyards throughout the northern valley of Mount Etna. New plantings are managed to full sustainability; in the cellar, grapes are treated gently, fermented slowly, and raised without heavy intervention. Produces 50,000 bottles annually. Visits by request: vineyard tours, winery tours, palmento tours, wine tastings, lunch, and dinner. Small groups only (<15). Family and pet friendly. Languages: Italian, English, French. Also: +39 094-289-0523. Wines to try: Ante Etna Bianco, Aetneus Etna Rosso, Pistus Etna Rosso.
