Nord Wineries

The largest concentration of Etna DOC producers, on gentler gradients sheltered by the Peloritani and Nebrodi ranges. The coolest versante, with a marked diurnal range and the lowest altitude ceiling at around 800 m. Predominantly nerello mascalese, with carricante spreading over the last decade. Comuni: Randazzo, Castiglione di Sicilia, Linguaglossa, Piedimonte Etneo.
